This book is a timeless classic, and I'm not saying that just because I'm his nephew, I've gone in the field looking for Gold with him in Montana,and his knowlege of Geology, minerals,and rocks has astounded me. If you want to find Gold, buy this book, you won't be disapointed.
This "book" is 61 pages total. There were 31.5 pages of illustrations. The material is okay, I guess, but the price is relatively high.

Great for beginners.
Placer gold prospectors get the knowledge of the experience from the author and it is a great handbook on the time saving reference done for the prospector. You can't go wrong buying someone's experience at your finger tips when you are in the field and need to know how and what to look for! It's a bonus to any gem and gold prospector!
